Samuel A. Moran
President, Co-founder
Sam’s philosophy: “Solve the right problems. Do not give up.” This motto has driven him to dedicate his life to building things that matter. He is currently channeling that passion as a mechanical engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin.
Sam’s vision has lead to the foundation of organizations like the Sustainable Building Initiative, a student-led consultancy at UT Austin whose mission is to address our climate crisis by developing green infrastructure.
He has had the privilege of working with everything from military automation to advanced composite materials, and it is a point of pride that his designs are already active in factories around the world. Ultimately, Sam believes that disruptive engineering holds the key to our planet’s most significant challenges, and he invites you to be part of the solution.

Jesse Cruz is an individual who effortlessly blends his passion for culinary excellence with a commitment to education.
Jesse’s culinary expertise shines through his authentic ramen restaurant, where he serves delectable bowls of nourishment to satisfy the taste buds of food enthusiasts. Additionally, he has published the cookbooks Washoku: A Culinary Journey Through Japan and Kumako Den: Timeless Ramen Recipes for Modern Cooks.
However, Jesse’s passion for making a difference goes beyond the kitchen. As a co-founder of the Jesse Cruz and Samuel Moran Foundation, he is dedicated to empowering individuals through education.
By combining his business acumen with his philanthropic spirit, Jesse demonstrates a remarkable commitment to both culinary excellence and creating positive change in the community.
